An auto repair shop in Huntington Station was extensively damaged after a fire broke out in the building on Thursday morning, fire officials say.
Huntington Manor firefighters responded to Auto Fusion, located on West Jericho Turnpike, around 8:30 a.m. and got the blaze under control in about an hour. No injuries were reported.
The fire is under investigation by the Suffolk Police Arson Squad and Huntington Town Fire Marshal.

About 60 firefighters from Huntington Manor, Huntington, Melville, Greenlawn, Syosset and Dix Hills responded to the scene with 10 trucks. Ambulance crews were on the scene from the Huntington Community First Aid Squad, and the Halesite Fire Department provided standby coverage. Units were under the direction of First Assistant Chief Jon Hoffmann, supported by Assistant Chiefs Chuck Brady and Jim Glidden.
