Blaze Leaves 15 People Homeless In Huntington Station
The fire broke out on Wednesday morning.

About 15 people were left homeless due to a fire that broke out in Huntington Station on Wednesday morning, fire officials say.
Members of the Huntington Manor Fire Department responded to a fire that broke out in a building on New York Avenue near West 10th Street around 6:53 a.m.
Firefighters attacked the inside of the building and needed three hose lines to bring the fire under control, according to a Facebook post on the Huntington Manor Fire Department Fan Page.

No injuries were reported. The Red Cross was notified about the people who were displaced and have responded to the scene, the Huntington Manor Fire Department reports.
First Assistance Chief Jon Hoffmann confirmed the working fire. The Huntington, Greenlawn, Melville and Dix Hills fire departments as well as the Huntington Community first Aid Squad assisted with the incident.
