Human Remains Found In Suitcase On Long Island: Police
The suitcase containing the person's body was found next to a building on Tuesday morning, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Human remains were found in a suitcase in Huntington on Tuesday morning, Suffolk police said.
Officers responded to a 911 call reporting suspicious activity in the wooded area next to 320 Nassau Road at 11:50 a.m., police said. Officers found a dead person in a suitcase next to the building, police said.
The person's identity and cause of death will be determined by an autopsy to be conducted by the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office, the department said.
