The Halesite Fire Department put out a car fire early Sunday morning that had spread to nearby brush and a retaining wall.
The department said the fire in a vehicle on East Shore Road was reported at 2:24 a.m.
Fifteen firefighters under the command of  Chief Dan McConnell to the scene of the fire, reported at 2:24 a.m.
