Cops: Gunpoint Robbers Leave Empty Handed

Here are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area, according to Suffolk County Police.

Wednesday, Oct. 4

At 2:45 a.m., police reported a burglary in which someone entered a Croley Street home in Greenlawn and stole a chef knife.

At 9 a.m., police reported a burglary in which someone entered a basement and stole copper pipes at a Tower Street location in Huntington Station.

At 9:38 p.m., police reported a robbery in which a person was approached by two people who displayed a gun and demanded money on Caldwell Street in Huntington Station. The robbers left empty handed, police say.
