Cops: Gunpoint Robbery, Man Struck With Metal Chair

Here are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area, according to Suffolk County Police.

Tuesday, Sept. 26

At 12 a.m., police reported a burglary in which jewelry and a laptop were stolen from a Greenhills Road home in South Huntington. The door of the home was unlocked, police say.

Police reported a robbery in which a man was punched and hit with a metal chair on Depot Road in Huntington Station. His cell phone and wallet— which contained money and credit cards— were stolen. He was treated at Huntington Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

At 12:06 a.m., a man walking on Broadway in Greenlawn was robbed by a man at gunpoint. His cell phone and wallet was stolen. No injuries were reported.
