Cops: Man Hospitalized From Whitman Shops Robbery

Monday, Sept. 18

At 3:15 p.m., police reported a burglary in which someone stole various items from a home on Madison Street in Huntington.

At 8:25 p.m., Francis Haagenson, 43, was arrested and charged with second-degree robbery at Lord and Taylor in the Whitman Shops. Police say he injured a man after being confronted by employees for attempting to steal clothing. The injured man was treated at Huntington Hospital for minor injuries.

Saturday, Sept. 23

At 11 p.m., police reported a burglary in which bicycles were stolen from outside a home, located on Townhouse Way in Huntington Station.
