Greenlawn Student Arrested After Making Threat Of Mass Harm: Police
An official at Old Field Middle School notified police of the girl's threat on Friday afternoon, police say.
GREENLAWN, NY — A Greenlawn student was arrested Friday after Suffolk police said she made a threat of mass harm at Old Field Middle School.
The girl made the threat Monday, police said. A school official notified police about the threat on Friday afternoon, police said. Officers responded to the school, at 2 Old Field Road, and the school searched the teen's locker, police said.
The teenager was arrested at 4:30 p.m. and charged with threat of mass harm. She will be arraigned in Suffolk County Family Court at a later date.
