Guide To Easter and Passover Catering During Coronavirus

Looking for holiday meal options? These restaurants and businesses are offering prepared meals.

SMITHTOWN, NY — As Long Island shoppers find grocery items increasingly hard to find and concerns about in-person shopping trips grow, many are considering having Easter and Passover holiday meals catered. Some restaurants and food businesses that stayed open for pickup and delivery during the coronavirus pandemic have created special family meal packages. Here are some in your local area.

H20 in Smithtown will cook Easter meals that customers can pick up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday. The package serves four to six people, and includes an antipasto kit that can be assembled at home, two sides, a salad, four fully-trussed and seasoned oven-ready roast options including one fish and a full sized pie. Bottles of wine and batched cocktails are available as well. Orders must be placed before Thursday at 6 p.m.

Piccolo Huntington will be open on Easter Sunday for curbside takeout and delivery with both the regular menu and holiday specials. Holiday hours will be 12 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Uncle Guiseppe's in Smithtown has created both full Easter and Passover menus. The Passover menu serves eight people. Two Easter menu options serve either six to eight, or 12-15 people and include appetizers and dessert. There are also a la carte options. Easter orders must be in by Friday.

Mascali Restaurant in East Northport has Easter specials for takeout or delivery. Dinner options are lamb chops, stuffed flounder or chicken Frangelico.
