Guide To Huntington Takeout During Coronavirus Shutdown
Local restaurants are expanding to-go options. Here's where to eat and support local businesses in Huntington.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Last week New York State restaurants and bars closed their dining rooms to help slow the spread of coronavirus. But Huntington-area restaurants are offering more delivery and takeout options as they try to stay open during the pandemic.
Residents interested in helping support small businesses during the COVID-19 shutdown period can order food at these establishments. Businesses across Long Island are offering expanded delivery; some are organizing curbside pickup and others will bring orders to customers' cars.
Finnegan's is doing takeout, curbside and delivery meals through DoorDash. Every $25 dollar order comes with a free kid's meal.

Restaurant Joanina will deliver their Italian food along with bottles of wine from sister shop Joanina Wine Shop. Pickup is also available.
Pancho Villa's in Huntington Village is now offering home delivery and curbside pickup. The Mexican eatery is serving their full menu along with margaritas and sangria. The Huntington Station location is closed.

KuraBarn Sushi is staying open for curbside pickup and delivery. Customers can place orders online as well.
Thai USA is open for curbside pickup or takeout for lunch and dinner. The restaurant will also deliver for orders of $50 or more.
Delivery and takeout are available at Mission Taco. The taqueria is promoting a 10 tacos for $40 family special.
Leilu has moved to curbside and delivery service. Family meals can be dropped on customer's doorsteps Tuesday to Sunday from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. Customers can also buy a bottle of wine for $25 with the purchase of the family meal package; bottles normally cost $35.
Hatch Restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday for curbside pickup or takeout. The breakfast and lunch food can also be ordered through DoorDash 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Babalu has stayed open, and they are now offering to-go weekend brunch. Friday and Saturday nights are takeout paella nights, with a bottle of wine added to the two-person dish order.
Six Harbors Brewing Company wants to give back to first responders, offering 20 percent off beer cans or growler refills to medical and emergency workers. Food takeout, delivery or curbside pickup is available until 6 p.m.
Sal D's Italian restaurant has a full lunch and dinner menu available to go or delivered. The owners sent this message to customers on their website:
"As we proceed in these trying times we just want to reiterate our commitment to our business, our staff and most importantly our valued customers. We may not be able to welcome you in with open arms but will continue to do our best providing you with something familiar and comforting. Food. Really really good food."
