Huntington Station Teen Located

Wendy Velasquez was reported missing on Thursday, Oct. 12.

Updated at 9:24 p.m.: Wendy Velasquez, 16, of Huntington Station, has been located, unharmed, Suffolk Police said on Monday night.

Police are asking the public for help in locating a Huntington Station teen who was last seen last week.

According to authorities, Wendy Velasquez, 16, was last seen at her home on Tuesday, Oct. 10 and was reported missing on Thursday, Oct. 12.

Police described her as Hispanic, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Detectives do not suspect foul play.

The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call 911 or contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
