Huntington-Area Students Named Otto Kahn Scholarship Winners
Winners will be awarded $3,000 at the Gatsby-themed annual Garden Party at Oheka Castle in June.
Seven talented high school seniors from the Town of Huntington were announced as winners of this year's Otto Kahn Awards.
The following students will perform or display their art at the Friends of OHEKA's annual Garden Party at Oheka Castle on Wednesday, June 13:
- Michael Bradford— Huntington High School
- Shannon Culhane— Northport High School
- Kenneth Fajardo— Huntington High School
- Sarah Glassner— Northport High School
- Marley Jacobson— Half Hollow Hills East High School
- Delaney Mena— Walt Whitman High School
- Sean Wilkinson— John Glenn High School
These winners will each be awarded a $3,000 scholarship at the Garden Party, which will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here and price includes buffet dinner, hors d'Oeuvres, wine, dessert and entertainment. Attendees are invited to dress Gatsby-style and participate in many raffles.

This year's humanitarian award will be presented to Dr. Gerard X. Brogan, CEO/Executive Director of Huntington Hospital.
The Otto Kahn scholarship was open to students attending college in the fall who are majoring in the performing arts, visual arts or music.

To date, the nonprofit organization Friends of OHEKA has raised over $150,000 for students since 2003.
