Man Indicted On New Drug Charges In Death Of LI Woman Found In Suitcase: Records
The man faces charges of concealing a human corpse and possession of meth, according to court records.
HUNTINGTON, NY — The man arrested in connection with the death of a woman found in a suitcase in Huntington was indicted on charges of concealing a human corpse, as well as new felony drug charges, court records show.
The body of Seikeya Jones, 31, who is without a known address, was found in a suitcase in Huntington on Sept. 3, Suffolk police said.
Ronald Schroeder, 41, of Huntington, is set to be arraigned Wednesday at Suffolk County Court in Riverhead on charges of concealment of a human corpse, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: meth with intent to sell, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: methamphetamine, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Schroeder was arrested Sept. 6 at Penn Station, located at 1 Pennsylvania Plaza in New York City, following an investigation by Suffolk County Homicide Squad detectives and MTA Police, police said.
Schroeder gave investigators a "detailed admission" after a search of his apartment revealed a "strong odor of human remains," prosecutors told Newsday.
