Photos Show Extent of Damage In Fatal Greenlawn Crash
A man was killed in the two-car crash involving a mother and her infant on Monday, Nov. 6.
Updated on 11/17: The Greenlawn Fire Department on Friday released photos of a fatal two-car crash earlier this month. The photos show how damaged the vehicles were as a result of the crash.

A Centerport man was killed after he was involved in a two-vehicle crash with a woman and her infant son in Greenlawn on the morning of Monday, Nov. 6, police say.

According to authorities, Tyler Gomes, 26, was driving a 2007 Subaru eastbound on Cuba Hill Road when he lost control of his vehicle, crossed into the westbound lane and struck a 2016 Toyota 4Runner, which was driven by Allison Raich, 33, of East Northport, at 9:35 a.m.
Gomes, who was alone in the vehicle, was taken to Huntington Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say Raich and her 9-month-old son were taken to Huntington Hospital where she was treated for broken bones and the child was evaluated and released.
Both vehicles were impounded for a safety check. The investigation is continuing.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
