Mercedes-Benz Bursts Into Flames In Huntington Station

Suffolk County detectives are investigating the details surrounding a Mercedes-Benz sedan that burst into flames in Huntington Station on Sunday morning, fire officials say.

Huntington Manor firefighters responded to the car fire, located on East 8th St., at 2 a.m. to find the vehicle fully involved in flames.

Firefighters were quickly able to bring the blaze under control. No injuries were reported.

Units were under the command of Assistant Chiefs Jon Hoffmann and Chuck Brady.

The Suffolk Police Arson Squad is investigating.
