HUNTINGTON, NY—A new Italian restaurant is serving up gourmet variations of a favorite comfort food: Lasagna Ristorante opened in August on New York Ave. The owners have run a popular spot in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood called Lasagna Chelsea and now they've opened their first Long Island location in Huntington Village.

The eatery offers seven types of lasagna, both with meat and vegetarian options. The menu also includes fish, meat and other Italian staples.

The restaurant took over the former F.H. Riley's space at 400 New York Ave.
