S. Huntington Library Closed Wednesday, Thursday

The South Huntington Library will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday.

The facility will be closed during the final phase of the library’s generator installation project.

Power to the building must be shut down while workers connect the generator to the library’s electrical system, according to a posting on the library’s website.

The new generator aims to ensure that the library to maintain key functions, such as heating, communications and electricity – even during a major power outage.
