St. Paraskevi Greek Fest In Greenlawn Is This Weekend
There will be authentic Greek food, imported beer and wine, bands and more.

The St. Paraskevi Greek Fest in Greenlawn this weekend will feature authentic Greek dishes, imported wines and beers, rides, games, music, vendors and more.
The fest, organized by the St. Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church, will take place on Pulaski Road, near 1 Shrine Place, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The hours are:
- Friday, Sept. 15: 4 to 11 p.m.
- Saturday, Sept. 16: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Sunday, Sept. 17: noon to 8 p.m.
Food
Authentic Greek dishes that will be available include: lamb, fish, moussaka, spanakopita, grilled souvlaki, as well as a variety of pastries prepared by the church's best chefs. Imported Greek wines and beers will also be available at the bar.

Vendors
Visitors can browse the many vendors who will be offering clothing, jewelry, toys and more at the annual YiaYia's Attic Flea Market.
Rides
A carnival will offer rides and games for kids. The winner of St. Paraskevi's Ring Toss will win a bottle of fine Greek Wine.

Music and Dance
Attractions include Greek bands and a dance demonstration performed by the church's Goya youth group in full traditional costume. There will be tours of the church and shrine as well as an assortment of religious articles for sale.
