Voter's Guide: CSH 2018-19 School Budget, Board Election

What you need to know for election day.

Those who reside within the area of Cold Spring Harbor schools will vote on the district's $68,466,684 proposed budget for the 2018-19 school year on Tuesday, May 15.

The proposal calls for a 2.7 percent increase in spending over the current year and the tax levy increase is 2.73 percent, which is within the tax levy cap.

Residents will choose between three candidates to fill two spots on the CSH Board of Education. They are: incumbent Anthony Paolano, incumbent Ingrid Wright and William McHale, according to Newsday.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the Ralph Whitney Field House at Cold Spring Harbor Jr/Sr High School.
