Woman Thrown To Ground In Attempted Melville Robbery [VIDEO]
Police have released surveillance photos of a man they want to question.

Police are looking to question the man pictured in surveillance photo and video regarding an attempted robbery in Melville that occurred earlier this year.
According to authorities, a woman was walking on Walt Whitman Road, near Arlington Street, when she was thrown to the ground by a man who tried to grab the pocketbook secured across her chest at 1 p.m. on May 26.

The robber fled in a light-blue late-model BMW with a sunroof and Illinois plates. There were at least two other men in the vehicle, police say.

The man wanted for questioning in connection to this attempted robbery is described as in his 20s with short dark hair.
