Woman Seriously Injured In Suffolk Hit-And-Run: Police
The woman was crossing the street when she was struck by a car, police say.

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — A pedestrian was seriously injured on Thursday night after she was struck by a car while crossing the street in Huntington Station, Suffolk County police said.
At about 7:10 p.m., a woman was attempting to cross New York Avenue when a dark-colored sedan struck her and fled the scene southbound.
The woman was taken via Suffolk County Police helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital in serious condition, police said.
