Breeze Airways Offering $35 Tickets In One-Day, Flash Sale

Breeze Airways is selling $35 tickets from Islip's MacArthur Airport​ to Charleston and Norfolk — but for a limited time.

ISLIP, NY — If you've been waiting for a sign to escape the winter cold, this may be it.

Breeze Airways™ is offering a one-day-only sale on for tickets from Islip's MacArthur Airport to Charleston, South Carolina and Norfolk, Virginia — for only $35.

The "Fab Feb" sale is available until 11:59 p.m. Thursday, and only applies for travel between January 31 and March 16. According to a press release, the $35 fare is only available when booking a new reservation. It is also offered on all routes, but not all flights. The airline also stated that fares are nonrefundable but may be applied toward future travel as long as reservations are canceled at least fifteen minutes prior to the scheduled departure.

The promotion is to celebrate Breeze Airways™'s debut service from Islip, which will begin on February 17.

The new airline, founded by Jet Blue cofounder David Neeleman, was created in May to fill a gap in connections between secondary, regional airports. This December, it was announced that they would partner with MacArthur Airport.

UPDATE: A previous version of this story stated that the Fab Feb sale offered $35 tickets from Islip to Charleston and West Palm Beach. Breeze Airways later told Patch that they amended their initial statement, and that the sale is for Norfolk, VA, not West Palm Beach, FL.
