Driver Flees After Smashing Car Into Long Island Taco Bell
There were three employees inside at the time of the crash early Sunday. See more photos inside the story.

BAY SHORE, NY β Police are searching for a person who drove a car into a Long Island Taco Bell early Sunday and then fled the scene on foot.
The crash occurred around 3:20 a.m. at the fast foot restaurant at 490 Main St. in Bay Shore. There were 3 employees inside the restaurant at the time. No injuries were reported.
The Islip Fire Department, under the direction of Chief Pfuhl, responded to the scene and found a 2017 Nissan Altima had crashed through the west wall and window of the Taco Bell.

The Town Of Islip Fire Marshals office and building inspectors were notified to check the stability of the structure.
