Cell Phone Thieves Target Jackson Heights Stores, Police Say
The five teens stole three cell phones from a T-mobile and neighboring phone store in a two-day shoplifting spree, police say.

JACKSON HEIGHTS, QUEENS -- Police are searching for a group of teens who snatched three cell phones worth thousands of dollars from neighboring Queens stores.
The five teens hit the two Jackson Heights cell phone stores in a two-day shoplifting spree, police told Patch.
In the first incident on Dec. 21, the five boys entered a local cell phone store at 86-05 Roosevelt Ave. and swiped two phones worth an estimated $1,450 before bolting in an unknown direction, authorities said.

The teens returned to the same block a day later, this time targeting a T-Mobile store at 82-19 Roosevelt Ave., police said. Video surveillance shows the five hoodie-clad teens hovering around the store's display cell phones. The suspects made off with on cell phone worth $1,088 and fled, cops said.
Police described all five suspects as males in their late teens.
