Missing Jamaica Man Found Dead On Long Island, NYPD Says

Hendricks Walls, 85, was found dead in Suffolk County two days after he went missing, police said.

JAMAICA, NY — An 85-year-old Jamaica man was found dead on Long Island on Saturday, about two days after he went missing, police said. Hendricks Walls was found unconscious at 8:35 a.m. Saturday off Venetian Shores in Lindenhurst, the Suffolk County Police Department said.

Walls was pronounced dead in Suffolk County, the NYPD said. He had been last seen leaving his Claude Avenue home around midnight on Nov. 29, police said.

The Suffolk County medical examiner will determine the cause of Walls' death, Suffolk police said.
