Get those rubber soles ready. The Sixth Annual Judy's Run is coming up.
Judy's Run For Stroke Awareness and Prevention will take place June 1 at Sunken Meadow State Park in Kings Park. The run is a fast, scenic 5k (3.1 mile) loop course through the park and a 1-mile fun walk on the park's boardwalk overlooking the Long Island Sound.
The mission of the organization is to lower the incidence and impact of stroke by developing community awareness and education through community based education outreach programs, such as Judy's Run.
