Event Spotlight: Kings Park 15K Run

Runners and walkers of all ages and levels of ability from the local area are invited to test their training and endurance levels by being a part of the 16th Annual Lazer, Aptheker, Rosella and Yedid Kings Park 15 Kilometer Run. 

The run will take place on Saturday, March 16 starting at 9:00 a.m. at New Beginnings Childcare on Lawrence Road.

The run features  9.3 miles of beautiful vistas and challenging hills.

For kids, and anyone else who isn’t up to a 15K, there will be a half-mile fun  run/walk a half hour before the main event.

Proceeds of the run will be made to the American Brain Tumor Foundation to benefit people whose lives are affected by brain tumors, with an additional stipend reserved for Kings Park High School scholarship programs.
