Kings Park High School Senior Receives President's Volunteer Service Award
Max Freeman was recognized for his contributions to the community and volunteer actions.

Kings Park senior Max Freeman has been given the President's Volunteer Service Award.
In a statement released by Kings Park High School, principal Lino Bracco praised Freeman's contributions and volunteer actions.
"Max Freeman vividly demonstrated that young people across America are making remarkable contributions to the health and vitality of their communities. Max has volunteered a significant amount of his time serving the Kings Park community."

The Presidentβs Council on Service and Civic Participation was established in 2003 to recognize the valuable contributions volunteers are making in communities and encourage more people to serve.
According to the organization's website, the council created the Presidentβs Volunteer Service Award program as a way to thank and honor Americans who, by their demonstrated commitment and example, inspire others to engage in volunteer service.
