Building The Mamaroneck Scarecrow Trail 2023: The 'Stuff' Of Dreams
A journey of a thousand scarecrows begins with a single straw and there is no better place to start than the 4th Annual Scarecrow Build.

MAMARONECK, NY — A new fall tradition is coming back and your neighbors will need some help to make this year's Mamaroneck Avenue "Scarecrow Trail" the best yet.
Although autumn weather and the time for fall sweaters and harvest decorations are a few weeks off, it's already time to start thinking about building a scarecrow — if not to protect the crops, then to at least use your creative talents to show up the Joneses.
The Fourth Annual Mamaroneck Scarecrow Build will take place at Harbor Island Park on Saturday, October 7. There will be two sessions, the first taking place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the second taking place from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. In addition to a chance to build your own scarecrow for the scarecrow trail, attendees will have the chance to decorate pumpkins.
