LARCHMONT, NY — Low-impact landscaping practices aren't just good for the environment —they are good for business.
More and more homeowners and businesses are insisting the landscapers they employ follow environmentally responsible best practices. In part to protect the quality of life for neighbors, municipalities are regulating the industry more closely than ever before.
Now, landscapers in Westchester have the chance to get a little extra help with the ins and outs of the brand-new business landscape, just in time for the busy spring season.

The Larchmont Environmental Committee Committee is hosting a free "Low-Impact Landscape Maintenance" workshop on March 1, at the Larchmont Village Center.
The workshop will be conducted by the American Green Zone Alliance (AGZA) and Quiet Communities industry experts, who have helped grounds maintenance crews across the country make the transition from gas-powered equipment to using all-electric tools of the trade.
