Harbor Island Warming Center Open As Temps Turn Dangerously Cold

The Village of Mamaroneck will keep the warm, safe space open throughout the weekend, after which temperatures are expected to climb.

MAMARONECK, NY — Village of Mamaroneck officials have announced that as dangerously cold wind chills enter the region, a warming center will be open until 7 p.m. this evening.

The warming center will reopen on Saturday and Sunday at 8 a.m. and will close for the evening at 7 p.m on both days. Milder weather is in store for Monday, hopefully making the need for additional hours unnecessary.
