Mamaroneck Teen Assaulted And Robbed, 2 New Rochelle Teens Arrested
Village of Mamaroneck police said the attack took place at West Boston Post Road and Orienta Avenue in the early evening hours.

VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK, NY — A 14-year-old was attacked and robbed in Mamaroneck and police said that two teens have been arrested in connection to the daylight mugging.
The Village of Mamaroneck Police Department says that last Wednesday, around 6:19 p.m., they received a 911 call about an assault and robbery at the intersection of West Boston Post Road and Orienta Avenue.
Police say that a 14-year-old from Mamaroneck was walking home when he was assaulted and his wallet was stolen. The teen was taken to police headquarters where he completed a report and refused medical attention.

After an investigation, police identified two suspects.
On Monday, detectives took a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy, both from New Rochelle, into custody. Both were arrested and charged with felony second degree robbery and misdemeanor third degree assault.

The 16-year-old was arraigned in Village Court and released to his mother. He will be required to make an appearance in Youth Court at a later date.
The 15-year-old was issued appearance tickets, released to his mother, and will be required to appear in Family Court in the future.
