Mamaroneck Warns Residents Of Impending Nor'Easter
Town and village officials recommended residents move cars to high ground.

MAMARONECK, NY — Mamaroneck officials are warning residents of the flash flood watch issued for Monday into Wednesday.
In the town, officials encouraged residents to stay off the roads, secure outdoor furniture, and, if possible, move cars to a higher elevation.
In the village, where 10-12 feet of water flooded homes and streets during tropical storm Ida in September, officials concurred. They also recommended bringing in loose items such as free-standing Halloween decorations. They reminded residents to download the Storm Season Readiness Flyer.
