MAMARONECK, NY — There is little doubt that the country is more divided along partisan lines than ever before, but if there's one thing we can all agree on, it's that dogs are great.
The Village of Mamaroneck's Board of Trustees is searching for volunteers to serve on an Ad Hoc Dog Park Subcommittee. Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians and even cat lovers are invited to apply and help the village's canine friends find a public space of their very own.
Candidates who are interested should have flexibility to attend meetings that are scheduled quickly in order to do site visits and investigate locations in a timely manner.
