Blood Drive to Be Held at Island Trees Library Wednesday

Assemblyman Tom McKevitt (R,C,I-East Meadow) is alerting area residents of a blood drive being held at the Island Trees Public Library on Wednesday, July 17, and is encouraging all able and willing members of the community to attend. 

All donors will be mailed two New York Mets tickets for an upcoming game, courtesy of Long Island Blood Services. 

The blood drive will take place from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the library, which is located at 38 Farmedge Road. 

Important Information

- Please bring a valid I.D. 

- You must weigh over 110 lbs. 

- Be age 16 to 75 (those under 18 must have parental permission)

- Eat well and stay hydrated prior to appointment

- No tattoos within the past 12 months
