On July 7, a 3-year-old boy was taken to an area hospital aftera two-car collision on Newbridge Road. The drivers of both cars were issued summons.

On July 2, a Vox DVD player, a Nikon camera and a lens from a vehicle were stolen on Coppersmith Road.
On July 3, a front tire were slashed on a car on Andover Lane.
On July 3, assorted jewelry was stolen from North Newbridge Road.
On July 7, the first floor window of a home on Hickory Lane was opened with no reported loss.
- A Uniondale man was arrested on July 10 after he allegedly broke into a  home on Elm Drive South and tried to enter another on Charles Lane. For more details, click here.Â
Wantagh
A man on Daffodil Lane in Wantagh reported on July 2 that a metal luggage rack was stolen that had been affixed to his vehicle.
On July 6, James Foynes, 69, of Wantagh was arrested at the intersection of Beech Street and Sunrise Highway in Wantagh and charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
A Wantagh man was arrested at the Wantagh Long Island Rail Road Station on July 9 and charged with committing two recent burglaries in the Massapequa area. For more details, click here.
