Crimes Nearby, Pt. II: Man Stabbed, School Damaged

The following information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's incident reports. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime.
Bellmore
A roof rack was removed from a vehicle parked in the driveway of a home on Wilson Avenue sometime between June 22 and July 1.

A bike rack that mounted on top of a vehicle parked at a home on Judith Drive was stolen sometime between June 30 and July 8.
- The wiper blade on a vehicle parked at Applebees on Sunrise Highway was discovered damaged on July 6.Â
Massapequa

The side view mirror of 10 U.S. Postal Service vans parked at the U.S. Post Office on 1290 Hicksville Road in North Massapequa were discovered damaged on July 2.
The window of a vehicle parked at Lucille Roberts on Sunrise Highway was broken on July 6 with the trunk popped and a pocketbook removed.

Merrick
Sometime between June 29 and June 30, a bike was removed from a rear shed on Washington Avenue.
On July 1, a bike was removed from an unlocked detached garage.
A bike was removed from a shed on Carroll Avenue on July 3.
On July 4, a 42-year-old man was pronounced dead on Thursday after he was found in a pool on Elinore Avenue.
Two Freeport teens were arrested on July 11 after they allegedly stole the tires and rims off a car on Midian Street in North Merrick. For more information, click here.
Seaford
A wallet was stolen on June 12 from a vehicle parked on Tiana Street in Seaford. No damage to the vehicle was reported.
Tires and rims were stolen from a 2011 Honda Accord parked on Nancy Lane in Seaford between July 1-2.
A vehicle parked on Jackson Avenue in Seaford had its rear windshield broken and rear door dented on July 3. No property was reported stolen.
On July 6, Stephen Hutter of Seaford was arrested on Merrick Road in Seaford and charged with third and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle as well as a vehicle and traffic law violation.
Damage was reported at the former Seaford Avenue School building on July 7.
An aggravated harassment was reported on Wicks Avenue in Seaford on July 7.
