Dennis Dunne, Sr., R-Levittown, has been re-elected to serve another term as legislator of Nassau County’s 15th District, which includes Levittown.
Dunne defeated Democrat Jonathan C. Clarke, D-Levittown, 9,408 to 4,888 to remain in the post he’s held since the Legislature was created in 1996. This is the 10th time he’s been re-elected.
He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Hofstra University and he’s also a marine who served in Vietnam.

“It's all about improving the quality of life for people, and that always starts with people's pocketbooks," Dunne told Newsday.
