Fire Badly Damages Home on Carnation Road
A person was inside the home at the time of the fire but escaped unharmed; cause of fire under investigation.
One person escaped unharmed in a fire that fully engulfed the right side of a Levittown home Wednesday afternoon.
The fire at the Carnation Road home started around 1:50 p.m. It began outside in the back of the home, before traveling inside the rear two rooms and up to the third floor from the outside, according to Don Epple, First Deputy Chief of the Levittown Fire Department.

At one point, the whole right side of the home was engulfed in flames, Epple said. The blaze was under control by the Levittown Fire Department within 30 to 45 minutes of their response.
The fire also damaged the left side of the neighboring home. The cause of the fire is unknown and is under investigation.
