- Did you see the top stories of Monday? According to police, an unknown intruder used a cinder block to smash through the front door of a Hicksville drug store and stole a stash of pharmaceuticals. The Island Trees football team crushed Oyster Bay this weekend, 42-0.Â
- Reminder: Homecoming is this upcoming weekend for both Island Trees HS and Division HS. On Saturday, the Division HS parade is at 11 a.m. and the game is at 1:30 p.m. against Floral Park. Island Trees celebrates homecoming against East Rockaway on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. MacArthur HS will hold homecoming on October 26.Â
- On Tuesday, the Levittown Library hosts an AARP driver safety program. This class is offered once or twice a month to licensed drivers. Fee: $17.00 for AARP members; $19.00 for non-members (check or money order). More info. can be found here.Â
