Island Trees Community Celebrates Homecoming 2013

The Island Trees community came out in full force Saturday at this year's homecoming.

The afternoon started with a parade beginning at Memorial Middle School and ending at the high school. The parade was highlighted by cheerleaders of all ages, the homecoming king and queen, floats from each class, youth football players and the marching band.

The Island Trees HS marching band performed the national anthem before the start of the football game against East Rockaway, followed by the coin toss with Town Councilman Gary Hudes and kick-off at 1:30 p.m.
