Island Trees School District residents approved the school district’s $60.79 million proposed 2015-16 budget Tuesday 556-144 votes.
The budget includes a .82 percent increase in spending over the current year and carries a 1.6 percent tax levy increase.
Incumbent Daniel Donahue and William Fitzgerald were elected to the Board of Education after running unopposed.
