Knight Takes Home Victory In 15th District

LEVITTOWN, NY. — Kayla Knight has been declared the winner in Nassau County Legislature’s 15th district after unofficial tallies from Tuesday’s election place her with 68.6 percent of the vote.

Knight defeated Democrat Stephen Richard Hellman, who received 31.37 percent of the vote. In total, Knight received 13,224 votes to Hellman’s 6,048. She will be part of the 11-member Republican majority in the new county legislature come January.
