LEVITTOWN, NY — Levittown voters will be seeing red next year. While Democratic incumbent District Attorney Madeline Singas cruised to victory, GOP Legislator John Ferretti Jr. also easily won, as did Republicans Kate Murray and Jeanine Driscoll in the races for clerk and tax receiver, respectively.

Meanwhile, incumbent Democratic Town of Hempstead Supervisor Laura Gillen trailed Republican challenger Don Clavin late Tuesday. Clavin claimed victory in a Facebook post, writing he was "humbled and proud" to serve as the next supervisor.

"Thank you to everyone for all of the support during this campaign," he said. "Now, let's get to work!"
