Levittown Exxon Gas Station Robbery: Photos, Video Released
Police say the armed robber had a large knife.
LEVITTOWN, NY — Police have released photos and video of a knife-wielding man who robbed a Levittown gas station.
In the early morning hours of Sept. 24, the suspect, armed with a large knife, walked up to a male worker at an Exxon gas station on Hempstead Turnpike, police said. He then demanded the 69-year-old worker hand over money from the cash register, and the worker complied.
The suspect then ran behind the building and headed north with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a white man standing 5-feet-10-inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black hoodie-style sweatshirt, black pants and black sneakers, and carried a large red bag. An investigation remains ongoing.
