Levittown Fire Department Installs New Chief at Ceremony [Photos]

Deputy Chiefs and 50 year members of the department were also honored.

The Levittown Fire Department installed a new fire chief as well as three new deputy chiefs of the department at a ceremony on March 23.

Christopher Behrens was installed as the 36th Chief of the Department with his family by his side. Also installed were 1st Deputy Chief Donald Epple, 2nd Deputy Thomas Steinwall and newly elected 3rd Deputy Steven Hervan.

50 year members of the department were also honored. They include Ex-Chief and Commissioner Timothy Courtney, Honorary Chief Vincent Zupo and Honorary Chief Paul Bopp.
