LEVITTOWN, NY — Firefighters extinguished a blaze Saturday night in Levittown after receiving reports of a chimney fire. The blaze broke out around 8 p.m. Saturday at a Loring Home road, officials said.

Members of the Levittown Fire Department extinguished the blaze and crews set up a ladder truck to gain access to the chimney. They then used a chain to break up build-up in the chimney flue and crews inside the home put out any additional flames. No injuries were reported, officials said.
