LEVITTOWN, NY — A Levittown man has been arrested and faces charges of making terroristic threats after police said he was involved in an incident with a fellow apartment tenant, then barricaded himself inside his home and threatened to hurt law enforcement officers.

Police were called for a disturbance around 3:40 p.m. Thursday to the Kent Garden Apartments on Division Avenue in Levittown.

Arriving officers learned that Isaac Kodsi, 35, was involved in an incident with another tenant in the apartment complex, Nassau County police said. When police tried to contact him, Kodsi barricaded himself in his home and threatened to harm the officers, police said. Special operations and hostage negotiators were called to the apartment, and the officers eventually persuaded him to come out.
