Levittown Rage Soccer Team Accepted to Play in Premier League

Opening day is Saturday, March 23; Teams from all over New York to compete.

The Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) has announced that 71 Premier teams––41 boys teams and 30 girls squads from Under-12 to Under-18 –– will be kicking off play in the ENYYSA Premier League season in March.

Among one of those teams selected is the Levittown Rage from the Long Island Junior Soccer League's boys-under-13 division.

Opening day is Saturday, March 23 and teams all over Eastern New York––from Suffolk County, Long Island to the Albany area––will be playing this spring until the season concludes in June.

Unlike some other Premier Leagues, ENYYSA Premier League teams play only one game per day. In addition, they play one game per weekend when possible.

24 teams are coming from the East Hudson Youth Soccer League, 20 teams from the Long Island Junior Soccer League, nine teams from the Westchester Youth Soccer League, seven teams each from the Capital District Youth Soccer League and Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League, two teams from the Central New York State Soccer League and one team each from the Hudson Valley Youth Soccer League and Metrokids Interregional Soccer League.

“We are very excited to kick off the 2013 ENYYSA Premier League season on the weekend of March 23rd and 24th,” said ENYYSA Premier League Director Steve Padaetz. “This year’s diversified competition features teams from across Eastern New York, including teams from eight different member league programs.”

The winner of each division automatically qualifies for entry into the Northeast Regional Premier League (NERP) in 2014.
