Levittown Senior Finalist For Prestigious Baseball Award
Division Avenue's Nick Roselli was one of four finalists for the Don Lang Diamond Award, a county-wide baseball award.

LEVITTOWN, NY — Division Avenue High School senior Nick Roselli was one of four finalists for the Don Lang Diamond Award, presented annually by the Nassau County Baseball Coaches Association, which is awarded to the best position player in the county. Additionally, Roselli was named First Team All-Long Island by Newsday, as well as Conference III All-County and Player of the Year.
Coach Tom Tuttle described Roselli's season as one of the best offensive seasons in the school’s history, as he accumulated a .615 batting average with 33 runs, 19 RBI, 13 doubles, three triples and four home runs. His slugging percentage was .1212, with an on base percentage of .701 and an on base plus slugging percentage of .1913. He also compiled eight stolen bases and made only three errors.
Tuttle added that Roselli's success was due to his unbelievable work ethic and his passion to always be better. In addition to being a star athlete, Roselli is a peer leader and a member of the National Honor Society.

“He is the hardest working player I have ever coached in my 23 years of coaching,” Tuttle said. “Nick is respected by his peers, coaches, faculty and administrators for the way he carries himself daily, and the Levittown community is fortunate to have a person like Nick representing our school and community.”
